Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with a well renowned practice located in York, North Yorkshire who are recruiting for an enthusiastic, goal-oriented and self-motivated full-time RVN to help continue the rapid growth of the practice. You will be supported by an excellent team of RVNs, experienced Vets, Trainee Nurses and dedicated reception staff.

You will work the following on a 3-week rotational basis:

• Part time - Two weekday shifts for 2 weeks and on 3rd week Saturday and Sunday. Shift time ideally 1:30pm to 12am, but start time can be flexible if needed
• Full time - Four weekday shifts for 2 weeks and on 3rd week to include two weekdays and two weekend days 1:30pm to 12am

Key Details:

• Hours: Full time or part time, 1:30pm to 12am
• Weekends: No
• OOH: Yes
• Computer System: Bespoke
• Team: 18 Vets, 13 RVNs, 2 SVNs

About Them:

• They are a 24 hour first opinion small animal hospital in picturesque York with a happy, hardworking team and loyal clients
• They provide emergency and critical care for patients from all practices all over York
• They offer a wide range of features, such as emergency care, consultations, nursing clinics, surgery, laparoscopic surgery, vaccinations, prescriptions, pet health plan, CT scans and acupuncture

The Person:

• You will will either have a qualification in Emergency and Critical Care or are interested in this area and planning on attaining this qualification, which the practice will support
• You will need to be confident in your own abilities and have excellent clinical and customer service skills to succeed in this
• Teamwork, patient care, high standards and relationships building with clients are at the forefront of what they do
• They are looking for an enthusiastic, goal oriented and self-motivated veterinary nurse to continue the rapid growth of the practice.
• You will need to be comfortable liaising with other veterinary team members, specialists and service providers
