We are recruiting for a Permanent Night Veterinary Nurse to join a hospital practice in Milton, Cambridgeshire. The working rota is on a 7 night on and 7 night off basis, with an average working week of 45.5 hours.

This is an established, large, and busy forward-thinking hospital practice. They are full equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and offer their own 24-hour overnight service.

The practice ensure that all the nurses get to nurse, and areas of special interest are supported.

The nurse will be working as part of the night team alongside two other RVNS and one Vet and one PCA. They will be dealing with a wide range of cases and the position offers an excellent opportunity for a nurse to develop their emergency and critical care skills. They will also have the opportunity to develop areas of special interest and study towards a certificate.

They are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking nurse who will embrace all aspects of the role. They will have a minimum of 2 years of post qualification experience.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing a high standard of care to both patients and clients
• Adhere to practice protocols and standards
• Work closely with fellow colleagues providing support where required
• Document all records correctly and communicate to clients
• Establish and develop good working relationships with both clients and fellow team member.
• Enjoy running nurse clinics and appointments
• Clinical coaching duties or study to become clinical coach

About you:

• You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience
• You will have a passion for ECC Care
• You will be an experienced nurse competent in all areas of general nursing
• You will be motivated with a genuine passion for animal welfare
• You will consistently deliver a high standard of clinical care
• You will have excellent communication and customer interfacing skills
• You will enjoy clinical coaching or looking to become a clinical coach
• You will enjoy running nurse clinics

Facilities:

The practice is fully equipped to offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and facilities as one would expect in an accredited Hospital.

Package:

• Salary: 30,000 to 33,500 pro rata, commensurate to experience
