Job description

We are looking for a Permanent Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a practice in the London Borough of Bromley. The role is full time working 42 hours per week working 7.30pm - 7.30am on a 5 days on/5 days offrota.

The practice is looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond for the patients and clients, developing trusting relationships with both.

The ideal candidate is an RCVS Registered Nurse with a background or a passion for ECC work that they would like to develop. They would also have a good amount of previous small animal experience. They are looking for a nurse who puts animal care and the welfare for both pets and owners above all else. . This role would be most suited to someone who is looking to develop their skills in ECC within a busy practice with a variety of interesting cases to deal with.

Duties:

The role involves all aspects of nursing and includes sharing best practice and supporting and developing the rest of the nursing team. The RVN will be involved in administering treatments and medications, performing diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries, and providing advice to clients. They will also have clinical coaching opportunities to support SVNs within the region.

The role is ideal for an RVN who thrives on providing a high level of veterinary care, teaching student nurses and someone who is ambitious to develop their career.

About you

  • Previous experience of ECC work would be advantageous but not essential.
  • You will have a good amount of nursing experience in all aspects of nursing
  • You will have good organisational skills
  • You must have a friendly and compassionate attitude and be approachable at all times
  • You will be ambitious to continue with further education and training
  • You will have experience in clinical coaching and or happy to become a clinical coach
  • You must be motivated and passionate about your work and share this and promote this ethos with other members of staff
  • You will enjoy working as part of a team
  • You will have a genuine passion for animal welfare
  • You will consistently deliver a high standard of clinical care
  • You will be caring, adaptable, hardworking, and reliable
  • You will have excellent communication and customer interfacing skills

Package:
