Job description

We are recruiting a permanent Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal hospital in Gloucestershire.

This is an accredited small animal hospital which provides an emergency service to the surrounding area.

The role is a full time working on a rota of 7 Nights on and 7 Nights off. The RVN will work alongside the Veterinary Surgeon and another RVN.

They are looking for a confident and enthusiastic RVN who is happy work alongside a small team offering in patient and emergency care. Previous experience is desirable but a passion for ECC work is essential.

The practice offers state of the art facilities and is fully equipped with the latest diagnostic technology.

The Person:

  • You must have a passion for emergency and critical care work
  • Previous OOH experience would be desirable but not essential
  • You must be motivated and passionate about your work and share this and promote this ethos with other members of staff
  • You will enjoy working as part of a small team
  • You will have a genuine passion for animal welfare
  • You will consistently deliver a high standard of clinical care
  • You will be caring, adaptable, hardworking, and reliable
  • You will have excellent communication and customer interfacing skills

Must have:

RCVS registered and qualified
