We are recruiting for a Permanent Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to provide mobile cover across 6 Veterinary practices across the Essex Area.

All of the practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in the state-of-the-art Animal Hospital. The role will involve providing cover at one the large animal hospitals.

The role offers the Vet the opportunity to work with a variety of highly experienced Veterinary teams and offers exposure to develop their clinical skill set and knowledge due to the wide range of cases that they will be dealing with. They will have exposure to a wide range of both routine and non-routine surgeries and medical cases. The role also offers the Vet to connect with a large amount of Veterinary professionals who regularly share their knowledge and best practice.

About the role

This is a full tine role working a 4-day week with a total of 39 hours. There is a 1:3 half weekend or 1:6 full weekend rota.

As this is a mobile role the Vet must have a full UK driving license. They must have a minimum of 6 months small animal experience and be comfortable with sole charge work when required. They will have an ambitious and motivated attitude and keen to develop their clinical skills. Excellent client facing skills along with communication skills are vital.

Package:

• Salary: Up to 65,000 for full time commensurate to experience
