Job description

We are recruiting for a Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

This is a full time position for 4 days per week with 1 in 3 half weekends. There is no OOH requirement.

The Vet would be joining and working alongside a team of three Vets at Newcastle Under Lyme. You must have 3 to 5 years of experience working in a small animal practice.

This is an established practice who have a lovely loyal client base along with a supportive and friendly team. They are equipped with two consulting rooms, nurse consult room, theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound and more.

Who are they looking for?

The Vet must be comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations and enjoy establishing and building working relationships with clients and colleagues. The Vet will have ambition and the motivation to progress in their clinical skills and knowledge and within a particular bias. They will be able to work up cases using standard diagnostics.

About you

  • You will be comfortable in routine surgeries and consultations
  • You will have 3 to 5 years of experience working in a small animal practice

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 74,100 per annum, commensurate to experience
