Job description

We have an opportunity for a Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Littlehampton.

The practice is looking for a veterinary surgeon who ideally has good experience gained in a small animal practice, excellent communication skills and the ability to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients. You will be competent in all routine medical and surgical procedures and consultations in order to provide the gold standard of care to the practice's patients and clients. You will have the confidence to work sole charge as this will be required.

This role is full time for an average of 40 hours per week with shifts from 8:30am to 4pm and 8:30am to 7pm, along with 1 in 8 weekends which will involve some branch work and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

  • You will have practical experience gained in a small animal practice

  • You will be comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations

  • An interest in pursuing a certificate would be supported and encouraged

Package:

  • Salary: Up to 75,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
