We are recruiting on behalf of a practice of a small animal practice in Watford, London for a Permanent Veterinary nurse who has a keen interest in imaging.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who has a bias for imaging to work closely alongside the imaging Vet in the practice. They would be joining a large team of 9 Nurses and 4 SVNs.

The role offers a 4-day working week with a salary up to 30,000 per annum.

The practice provides ongoing internal and support to all the nursing team and understand the integral roles that nurses play within a practice. Areas of special interest are supported including completing certificates to develop their knowledge further. There are ongoing career progression opportunities towards a HVN role or a clinical coaching role.

The role of the Imaging Nurse will include

• Assisting nurses with patient induction
• Appointment scheduling
• Stock level checking and cleaning of certain units
• Promoting the CT machine
• Nursing within the hospital when the imaging unit is quiet
• Positioning the patients for the scans

Package:

• Salary Up to 30,000 per annum commensurate to experience
