We are recruiting for a Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse to join a first opinion referral practice in Hampstead. The role is full time for 42 hours per week.

This is an established, large, and busy forward-thinking practice. They are full equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and offer their own 24-hour overnight service.

In this role, you will be leading the nursing team and providing a nurse voice at senior leadership level. You will have 5 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience post registration. Previous experience in mentoring, line management and working in a referral practice is advantageous but not essential.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing a high standard of care to both patients and clients
• Adhere to practice protocols and standards
• Work closely with fellow colleagues providing support where required
• Document all records correctly and communicate to clients
• Establish and develop good working relationships with both clients and fellow team member
• Enjoy running nurse clinics and appointments
• Clinical coaching duties - or study to become clinical coach

The Person:

• You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience (2 years of experience post registration)
• You will be an experienced nurse competent in all areas of general nursing
• You will be motivated with a genuine passion for animal welfare
• You will consistently deliver a high standard of clinical care
• You will have excellent communication and customer interfacing skills
• You will enjoy clinical coaching or looking to become a clinical coach
• You will enjoy running nurse clinics

The Package:

• Salary: 26,000 to 34,000 pro rata commensurate to experience
