We are currently in search of a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice in Fulham London. The clinic is based 5 minutes walk from the closest London underground station (District Line) and is accessible by bus routes.

The practice has a great team of 2 veterinary surgeons plus 2.5 registered nurses and an animal care assistant. They have a spacious modern reception area, large consultation rooms and a fully-equipped operating theatre including doppler, ECG machine, dental X-ray, ultrasound and a state-of-the-art X-ray machine.

The role involves all aspects of general nursing as well as ensuring the day to day running of the practice. The HVN will be responsible for leading the nursing team and providing clinical coaching and mentoring where necessary. There are also administration duties with additional support provided from the regional management team.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic veterinary nurse who can prioritise high standards of patient care, and work with empathy and initiative at all times. The successful RVN will be a team player who consistently works to support all colleagues.

The practice can consider applications from third year student veterinary nurses but please note the package details including salary may differ.

Key Details:

• Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week
• Weekends: 1 in 6 weekends
• Type: Small animal
• OOH: on call rota shared equally
