We are recruiting for an experienced head nurse to join a charity clinic in London. The clinic provides veterinary healthcare to low income pet owners. They accept referrals from other practices across the area also to offer an alternative treatment for clients where euthanasia may have only been the option for their pet.

• Hours: 9:00-18:00 Monday to Friday
• Weekends: No
• OOH: No
• Team: Multiple Vet and RVN and support team

About them:

This is a well-established charity clinic in London who provide first class veterinary care to low income pet owners. They promote animal welfare through education and offer animal rescue services to animals in emergency situations where members of the public have called the charity. They see many challenging medical and surgical cases and are fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It is a large three-story clinic with operating theatres and consultation rooms as well as X -Ray, Haematology, Biochemistry machines, endoscopy and dental machines.

Person:

• You will be need to be efficient, strong, confident, kind and must be passionate about animal welfare.
• You will be working alongside dedicated welfare-focused veterinary and rescue teams.
• Facilities:
• Facilities including x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG, fluid therapy and blood sampling, on-site laboratory.
• The clinic has a modern, well-equipped operating theatres available for procedures where the utmost cleanliness is needed and cater for more complex medical and surgical cases
• Multiple consultation rooms
• Kennel and Cattery
• Isolation Ward
