Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with an independent veterinary practice in Yeadon, West Yorkshire who are currently recruiting for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This role would involve working 9am-6pm Monday to Friday and a 1 in 5 Saturday rota. There are no ooh in this role, thus offering a fantastic work/life balance.

Key Job Details:

• Type: Small animal only
• Hours Mon-Fri: 9:00am until 6:00pm each day
• Weekends: 1 in 5 Saturdays followed by extra Friday half day off.
• OOH: None
• Sole charge: Unlikely apart from occasional Saturdays
• Branch work: Occasional shift may be required
• Team: 5.5 Vets with a great team of nurses and support staff

About them:

A busy independent small animal practice Yeadon who provide a wide range of services to their loyal clients. The practice has a varied caseload that include small and exotic animals as well as boasting some excellent equipment inside their 24 hour hospital facilities, ultrasound, x-ray, in house lab, multiple operating theatres and much more.

The Person:

The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 1 years' experience behind them since qualifying, however they are able to support a new graduate. You will have a keen interest in both surgeries and consulting and have a real passion for providing a high level of care to all patients. It Is also important you have a compassionate and understand nature as well as the ability to provide a high level of customer service.

2020 grads are considered and they open to those willing to relocate.

The Package:

• Salary between 32,000 and 50,000 depending on experience
• CPD actively encouraged with 5 days per annum
• Certificates funded for right person

Must have:

• RCVS registered and qualified
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• 1 years qualified experience
