Job description
We are recruiting a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent small animal practice near Llanelli.
Our client is looking for an experienced, full-time, small animal veterinary surgeon with a keen interest in surgery to join their supportive, developing team of both experienced, including certificate holders and newly graduated vets. The candidate will also be working alongside an experienced team of qualified nurses and attentive receptionists. The role provides a varied workload of both medical and surgical cases. The candidate would work a 4 day week of 38 hours within their main branch. 1:6 Saturday mornings are required. There are no OOHs and 5 weeks holiday per annum is allocated exclusive of bank holidays.
They are looking for a confident veterinary surgeon who is comfortable with routine consultations and surgeries. Whilst being a supportive practice they also believe in offering clinical freedom, so the surgeon is able to full work up cases from start to finish.
The practice actively supports professional development and areas of special interest and certificates are encouraged.

Package:
- Salary - 40,000 - 60,000 DOE

Must haves:
- RCVS registered and qualified
