Job description
We are working with a small animal independent veterinary group who are recruiting a qualified veterinary nurse to join their practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire on a full time, permanent basis. This role involves working 40 hours a week over a variety of shifts between the hours of 8:30am & 7:00pm.
Key Details:
Type: Small animal
Hours Mon-Fri: 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:30am & 7:00pm
Weekends: Required to be worked on a rota basis
Sole charge: Not required
OOH: Not required
Team: 6 vets, 2 qualified nurses, 2 Students nurses and other support staff
About them:
An independent small animal veterinary group with 3 branches around the South Yorkshire area who have a dedicated and hard-working team throughout. They cover a variety of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and other small pets.
The Person:
You will be a qualified veterinary nurse with experience working within the UK
You will have excellent all-round nursing skills
You will be self-motivated with a genuine passion for animal welfare
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop working relationships with clients and team members
The Package:
Salary from 20,000 - 25,000 dependent on experience

Must have:
RCVS registration

1 years post graduate experience
