We are recruiting veterinary surgeons to join an independent practice in Newcastle on a permanent basis. Due to the strength in this practice's team, they are open to applications from veterinary surgeons of all experience levels including new graduates, as well as consider a mixture of full or part time hours.

Key Details:

Type: Small Animal only

Hours Mon-Fri: Between 8:00am & 7:00pm each day (40 hours per week if full time)

Weekends: 1 full weekend in 6 and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. Full weekends will be on call with long weekend the follow week

OOH: 1 night on call a week (with another vet), as well as the weekend rota

A 100-year established group of practices who provide 24 hour emergency care to the local area and beyond. Each practice is equipped with a range of modern facilities that include a full range of diagnostic equipment, in house laboratories, hospital facilities and much more.

About You:

You will be a qualified veterinary surgeon with a desire to work with a forward thinking, fast paced veterinary practice. You must have a real passion for the industry and strive to provide the highest standards of care. Excellent customer service skills are also essential.

The role is open to all qualified veterinary surgeons who are registered with the RCVS, however ideally you will have a couple of years' experience to be able to hit the ground running.

Package:

Salary: 35,000-55,000 depending on experience
