Excellent opportunity for a farm Veterinary Surgeon to join a fabulous mixed practice covering North Northumberland and the Eastern Scottish Borders.

The practice cares for small animals, exotics, horses, and livestock. This role is to join the farm veterinary team and will involve working closely with modern and progressive farmers, mainly beef and breeding herds, but also some pedigree herd and dairy farm work. Duties to include advising on preventative medicine planning, routine cases and emergency work.

They have a brilliant team in place with support available from experienced colleagues. A number of their vets are enrolled in certificate programmes and career progression is actively encouraged.

Key Details:

• Type: Farm Animal
• Hours: Full-time 4.5 day week
• Weekends: Yes on a rota
• OOH: Farm only shared on a rota
• Sole Charge: Occasionally when on call
• Team: Experienced vets and support staff

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Clean UK driving licence
