We are working with an equine sports medicine practice in Horsham who are looking for a Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

This is an advanced specialist practice which is fully equipped with the latest technology including portable wireless digital radiography, ultrasonography, shockwave therapy and bio therapeutics.

This role is full time with an on-call rota of 1 in 5.

• Provides an ambulatory service to show jumping, event and dressage clients throughout the UK
• They are looking to recruit an ambitious and pro active vet who has a special interest in equine sport medicine
• They are offering an excellent opportunity for an equine vet to develop their skills and knowledge with ongoing on the job training
• An ideal candidate would be a vet with a strong background in competition horses
• The practice would consider a new graduate looking to expand their skills and move into equine sports medicine
• They can offer amazing support and training for any individual that requires this or is looking to develop in a certain areas
• Practice predominantly treats show jumping, event and dressage clients throughout the UK
• Offers modern veterinary services using state of the art diagnostics
• Large loyal client base throughout the UK
• Comprises of a highly skilled veterinary team with various expertise and areas of special interest
• Can provide ongoing training and development where required
• Is a fully equipped, dynamic, forwarding thinking, modern equine practice

Package:

• Salary: 35,000 to 50,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: Generous annual leave
• CPD: Generous allowance
• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid
• Company car provided

RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
