Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of an independent equine practice in Chipping Onga Essex for a Permanent Equine Ambulatory Vet. The role offers a 4-day working week with a 2:8 Saturday rota. The emergency equine rota is 2:8 full weekends and 1 night per week on call.

The role will primarily involve providing ambulatory equine services to for mixed sports horses and leisure sport horses within their client base.

They are looking for an experienced Equine Vet and someone who is ambitious and looking to develop an area of expertise. The Vet will be competent in all areas of equine practice and be able to develop excellent client relationships to build a base so therefore fantastic communication and client care skills are essential. Any areas of special interest will be welcomed and supported as there will be opportunities available for additional qualifications. The practice will also welcome applications from certificate holding Equine Vets. They will be a team player, passionate and motivated with a strong client focus.

Package:

  • Salary - 36,000 - 44,000 for 2-5 years qualified Vets, 45,000 - 55,000 for 5 plus years qualified -commensurate to experience
