Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting a certificate holding Veterinary Surgeon to join a veterinary practice near Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater in Manchester.

This is a full-time position working 4 days per week with a 1:3 half weekend and 1:6 full weekend rota. There is some occasional sole charge work involved, although ordinarily you will be joined by a team of 6 Vets, 6 RVNs and 4 Auxiliary nurses. This position has arisen due to practice expansion.

This is a busy 24hr animal practice which provides a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.

All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines, ultrasound, endoscope, laparoscope, video otoscope, ECG, in house lab and digital and dental x-ray. There is a plan for a CT scanner in the future.

About the role

The practice is looking for a Vet who either holds a certificate or is working towards one. A variety of specialisms are considered. Funding for a certificate can be provided and there is the potential to buy out current training. The Vet must have excellent client skills with a client orientated approach and will work to a high standard both medically and surgically.

• You will have a certificate or working towards a certificate
