An opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic recently graduated Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent RCVS accredited practice on a full-time, permanent basis. Working hours will be 40 per week on average, with a Saturday morning rota of 1 in 4 and no out of hours or on call required offering fantastic work-life balance!

The practice is extremely well established with a loyal client base in the area, as well as working collaboratively with animal welfare and wildlife charities.

They have a great team of experienced vets and nurses, with a variety of interests looking to share their experience and support a newly graduated vet in their career development.

The successful candidate will enjoy being based in rural West Sussex making the most of what the market town of Horsham and its surrounding countryside has to offer, whilst being based a train journey away from the Capital with national and international transport links.

• Role: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

• Weekdays: Shifts between 8am and 7pm 40 hour week
• Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8am to 1pm
• OOHs: None required
• Branch work: Occasional
• Sole Charge: Branch and weekends
• Team: 4 Vets and 8 RVNs plus support staff

Package:

• Salary commensurate with experience starting from 30,000
• CPD allowance of 1500 negotiable
• 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
• VDS covered
• Further study supported and encouraged

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Valid UK driving license
