We have an opportunity for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing practice in Wem on a fixed term basis to provide maternity cover.
You must also have excellent communication skills, high clinical standards and practical experience gained in a small animal practice. You will be confident in performing all aspects of surgery and consultation and will have the ability to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of 3 vets (1 full time, 2 part time), 2 RVNs and 2 SVNs. A flat above the spacious practice is available if accommodation is required.
You will provide the gold standard of care to the practice's patients and clients and be confident in taking on all aspects of surgeon responsibilities.
This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 1 in 6 weekends at the nearby branch hospital.

- You will be either a newly graduated vet that is looking for valuable support or an experienced vet that is confident working independently

- An interest in pursuing a certificate would be supported and encouraged
