We are working with a practice in Oldham who require a Locum Night Veterinary Surgeon to cover maternity leave. The role will start in January 2022 and will last for 9 months. The hours from Monday to Friday will be 9am to 6pm, with no on call or OOH. This role will be ideal for a vet with 1 to 2 years of experience. There may be further opportunities available at the conclusion of the fixed term contract.

• Weekends: 1 in 3 half weekends or 1 in 6 full weekends

• Team: 3 Vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 PCA and a supportive non-clinical team
• Accommodation: Provided on site
• Duties: Surgeries and consulting
• Computer: Freedom
• Rates: Daily rate negotiable
• Facilities: ECG, endoscopy, worming treatments, microchipping, neutering, ultrasound and vaccinations

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
