Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced locum vet for a 12 week period between the end of June and September. An interest and skills in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery would be very helpful.

Our clientare well equipped with DR radiography, good ultrasound, in house lab, Tonopen, 2 'clean theatres', separate dental theatre with DR dental radiography.2, 2.7, 3.5 & 4.5mm plating kits with DCP/SOP plates. TTA & ESF kit.
Theyanticipate a locum slotting into the rota vacated by their "vet on leave", covering on average 4.5 days a week, including a few weekend days in the 12 week period. 1:9 nights on call (approx.9 or 10 in total).

This would leave time to enjoy fabulous Pembrokeshire in the summer. Amazing coastal National Park, with use of a kayak and surfboard if required!

  • Start Date: June 2021
  • End Date: September 2021
  • Type: Small animal, first opinion
  • Hours: Monday - Friday/ 4.5 days a week
  • Team: RVNs and support staff
  • Accommodation: Could be arranged if necessary
  • Other: Mix of consulting and operating, must be confident in all general duties

Must have:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • 12 months related experience
