Professional veterinary recruitment

Our client in Hemsworth require an experienced locum veterinary surgeon to join their busy, small animal practice in West Yorkshire. This locum role will provide cover for ad hoc dates from January to April 2022, with occasional Saturdays as specified below and no OOH. All shifts are either 9am to 7pm or 9am to 5pm.

Our client has 2 receptionists and 2 nurses (1 being a long term locum). They do consultations and theatre work so the vet will need to be competent in both areas.

This position is long term for the ideal candidate but they must provide their own VDS cover.

They must also provide their own face shield and wear this along with a face mask at all times in practice (unless eating/drinking of course). If unable to wear a face shield due to health reasons, then they must purchase and wear their own goggles/glasses.

The practice requires cover on the following dates:

• Tuesday 4th Jan to Fri 4th Feb (Mon, Tues, Thurs and fri shifts 9-7)
• 21st - 25th Feb all 9-7
• Sat 26th Feb 9-5
• Sat 12th March 9-5
• Sat 26th March 9-5
• Wed 30th March 9-7
• Sat 2nd April 9-5
• Mon 11th April - Thurs 14th April 9-7
• Sat 16th April 9-5
• Tues 19th April - Fri 22nd April 9-7
