Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Gloucester for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover for a vet who is on maternity leave, lasting for 12 months.

You will have the experience gained in a small animal practice to perform routine surgeries and consultations. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills in order to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients. You will provide the gold standard of care to the practice's patients and clients and play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the practice.

The role is full or part time with working hours on a rota from 8:30am to 7pm, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff
