We are working with a small animal practice in Poole/Bournemouth area who require a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover for the month of September. This role will be full time ideally, to help cover annual leave, but if you are unable to work full time, odd dates will be considered. Saturday 3rd and Saturday 17th are crucial dates that the practice need help with.

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Start date: 3rd September 2022
• End date: 30th September
• Hours: Mon-Fri: 8.30am-7pm. Can be flexible
• Weekends: Saturday 8am - 4pm. Need to be able to cover 3rd Sept and 17th Sept is possible.
• OOH: None
• Sole charge: Saturdays only
• Branch work: Yes, between two sites in close proximity
• Computer system: Merlin
• Team: 2 Vets, 2 HVNs, 5 RVNs and 5 SVNs across the two practices
• Accommodation: Yes - including showering and eating facilities
• Duties: Consultations (15 minutes) and surgery
• Rates: 400 - 600 per day dependent on experience and payment vehicle

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
