Professional veterinary recruitment

We are working with an independent small animal practice in Aberdeen who require a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join them and provide cover for a three-month period. The role will ideally start at the beginning of February.

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday with day shifts ranging between the hours of 8am - 7pm. There is a 1:4 Saturday rota comprising of 9am - 5pm. There is no ooh or on call. They do offer an inpatient check service for non-critical patients and this would involve a check in at 10pm during the evening but this is not essential to the position as they do have a large team available. The rota involves a mixture of routine surgeries and consultations and there will occasionally be a small element of sole charge but there is support available.

This is an independent practice working within one of the branches mainly and there will also be some local branch work within two other sites. Ideally the locum would have their own vehicle however if not then the role can be based at one practice if needed.

• Rates: Daily rate negotiable

Must haves:

RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
