We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Wickford Essex for a Veterinary Nurse to join them on a fixed term contract to cover a Maternity leave. The position is full time with a 40-hour week and a 1:6 full weekend rota. Whilst this position is a fixed term contract due to continual expansion of the practice there are permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

The role involves all aspects of general nursing, so they are looking for a nurse with a sound level of small animal experience. They will also be expected to assist with the day to day running of the practice and assist with training the SVNS within a clinical coach capacity. They will be able to use their own initiative and promote their own ideas and develop nurse clinics. Overall, this is an exciting opportunity for continual growth and development with ongoing career prospects.

Package:

• Salary: 21,000 - 26,000 pa commensurate to experience
• Holiday allowance: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
