Professional veterinary recruitment

We are recruiting for a Locum Veterinary Nurse to join a small practice on the outskirts of Ramsgate, Kent on a fixed term contract basis to cover maternity leave for approximately 6 to 9 months.

This role is full time for 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 4 weekends and an OOH rota of 1 in 6 weekends.

This position offers a vet nurse the opportunity to develop their nursing skills and they can provide a good surgical and medical caseload. The nurse would be joining a large team of fellow RVNs, SVNs and PCAs. The role also provides the opportunity to develop nurse clinics and being able to use their own initiative to promote new ideas.

• You will have a good amount of nursing experience in all aspects of nursing
• You will have good organisational skills

• You will be ambitious to continue with further education and training
• You will be forward thinking and always looking at ways to develop the clinical nursing team further
• You will enjoy running nurse clinics
• You will have experience in clinical coaching and or happy to become a clinical coach

• You must be motivated and passionate about your work and share this and promote this ethos with other members of staff
• You will enjoy mentoring others and leading by example
• You will enjoy working as part of a team

Package:

• Salary: Up to 30,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
