Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Brighton for a Locum Veterinary Nurse to provide maternity cover on a fixed term basis for 6 to 12 months. This role is part time for 3 days per week, along with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings which are optional. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing duties and it is a very hands-on role. They will have the responsibility of overseeing all areas of the practice and will ensure that all protocols are followed.

The RVN will have a good amount of previous experience within small animal practice and have a good understanding how a practice runs effectively. They will share knowledge and help support, coach and mentor others. They will also be proactive in taking an interest in patient welfare and education clients.
