We are recruiting for either a locum small animal or locum mixed animal (equine & small) Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent practice in Eastleigh Hampshire to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

This is a full time position and there is an accommodation allowance available. The role comprises of a mixture of consultations and surgeries. There is a 1:4 weekend rota where the Vet will perform consultations on Saturday morning from 8.30am - 12pm then they will be on a pager service. There is also a 1 evening per week on call as an average with the support of a on call nurse. There is only sole charge involved when on duty in some evenings.

• Consult times: 8.45am - 7pm on rotating shifts
• Team: Equine & Small animal mixture; 2 FT SA only vets, 1FT Equine only vet, 1PT Equine only vet, 3 FT mixed vets
• Main duties: General first opinion practice and emergency care, delivering gold standard patient and client care
• Accommodation / Allowance: Allowance for accommodation
• Other: Independent, friendly practice. Very successful preventative healthcare regimes.

Must have:

RCVS registered and qualified

Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom

6 months related experience
