Locum Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Jersey, Channel Islands

Our client on the island of Jersey is looking for a Locum Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon (Equine and Farm) to provide cover from as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

This is a full-time role and accommodation is provided however there is the possibility that the accommodation maybe shared.

The locum would be joining a large team of 18 vets and 10 RVNs so there is plenty of support available. There is a shared OOH rota.

The hospital is fully equipped with facilities including DR X-ray (both equine and small animal), video endoscopes (equine and small animal), operating microscope, TPLO saws, fracture kits, arthroscopy, Hydro unit, digital dental X-ray machine, ultrasound, and a brand-new CT scanner. Equine Video gastroscope and endoscopes, Equine Digital X-Ray Equipment, Equine and Farm Ultrasound Scanners.

The role would be ambulatory, and the Locum would still be able to fully investigate most of their own cases, and this would only include equine dental work if they had an interest.

Jersey is a beautiful Island and has amazing beaches, the social scene in Jersey is excellent with many great restaurants and bars
