Job description

We are currently looking for a Permanent Clinical Director to join a small animal practice in Gillingham Kent.

This role offers the Clinical Director the opportunity to lead a team and take a step closer to a partnership. The role will involve running the practice and leading the team and there us support available within the group network.

This is a full-time role with a weekend rota and no ooh.

It is a purpose-built practice with a established client base but offers potential for future growth and an ambitious clinical director can achieve this.

The Vet must have strong small animal experience and be confident in routine surgeries and consultation. They must have excellent people management skills and communication skills and enjoy mentoring others and leading by example. They will also have excellent client care skills and enjoy establishing and building client relationships. Ares of special interest and post graduate qualification are supported and welcomed.

  • Hours: Full-time
  • Monday- Friday: Monday - Friday
  • Weekends: Yes on a rota
  • Sole charge: Some
  • Branch work: None involved
  • OOH: No OOH

Person:

The ideal candidate will need to be an ambitious, motivated, and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon, who is passionate about the provision of high-quality service to patients and clients. The candidate will be a key participant in the running of the dynamic and forward-thinking clinic, leading the veterinary team. The candidate will need to be keen to continually improve their professional knowledge and experience and will be an excellent communicator, understanding that educating pet owners about their pets' welfare is just as important as providing high quality treatment.

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified
